Google Funny and Weird Search
You'll no doubt have seen some but hopefully not all of these before (if so skip to the second half of the post). Some are with the 'I'm Feeling Lucky' option, some are not.
Type the following phrases into Google search for some surprising results at the top of the list:
"Google Easter Egg" (with the 'I'm feeling lucky' option) - [or just click here ] - Play with the bunny!
"Find Chuck Norris" (with the 'I'm feeling lucky' option) - [or just click here ]
"the answer to life the universe and everything" [or just click here ]
"Who is a failure ?" [or just click here ]
"Achieving" [or just click here ]
"Search" [or just click here ] - You would expect Google to be higher?
"French military victories" (with the 'I'm feeling lucky' option) [or just click here ]

Roy at Irish Taxi was checking to see what his most popular post was, so that got me wondering about the same thing.
I'm not necessarily top of the search list on google but am in the top 10 for some of these more unusual googled search terms below. When you run the search just scan for "~Irish Expat" in the list. Why do people look for this stuff on google? How do they end up on my blog?

"argentina expat tax evasion" [or just click here ]
"Argentina Leprechaun" [or just click here ]
"Pinapple Face" [or just click here ] (and scroll down - yes I spelt it wrong!)

if you google "Konina" (which in keeping with the theme of the week is Polish for horsemeat) and "Irishman"-you get my blog. absurd yet strangely.....satisfying :)

Have you tried statcounter? I use it alongside anaytics and find it better and they're IRISH (gotta support our own).............it's free
@ Roy: You're welcome. I use Statcounter too but the free version is limited to 500 log entries. I think if you use both together you get a good idea of how to do some SEO.
I'm a 'tard and can't figure out that damn analytics thing to track my site. It sucks!
The top non title related google search to my blog is : 'Transvestite'...
Some of my personal favourites are:
'brother in a dress'
'randy milkman'
'what's a knob?'
'buggery'
'can testicles return to full size?'
'did lil kim have 4 gallons of sperm in her'
they are the 'publish-able' ones...

got one today for "girlfriend diarrhea pants" not only is that a funny search query...but my page doesn't show up until the 3rd page of google for the term....someone was having a tough time finding good information on "girlfriend diarrhea pants"

Hi quickroute. I think in order to get comment ratings you may need to use 'inline' comments. You have to go to Bloggerindraft.blogspot.com for the info.
